Lovely July Weekend

I started off the weekend by getting a 96% on a business mid-term Friday night. (Woo-hoo!)

On Saturday we headed to Gilroy for the world-famous Garlic Festival! We caravaned there with my mom, Jase's mom, and her significant other, Scott. Upon arrival, we proceeded to eat and eat and eat some more!! Between all of us, we had garlic stuffed mushrooms, garlic marinated mushrooms, a garlic sausage sandwich, garlic bread, garlic ice cream, frozen lemonade, garlic corn-on-the-cob, shaved ice, garlic popcorn, garlic stuffed artichokes, and full cloves of roasted garlic. *mmmmm!!!* Yum-o! The guy holding the ribs tried to sell us that whole thing!! What in the world would I do with that?! We had a wonderful time and the weather was as great as you could ask for in Gilroy.

Today we are doing nothing but relaxing. It's good to have a day all to ourselves. :) And naps are definitely on the agenda:

Albino Redwood Tree??

I was hiking with my family in Felton a couple weekends ago and came across what looked like an albino redwood tree. I wasn't sure there even was such a thing. So we felt it (felt just like a normal redwood tree) and snapped a couple of photos.

When I got home, I googled it. Turns out there is such a thing. At least that's what these people and these people say! Apparently it's pretty rare. :)

Justin's at it again!

I admit it.. I had a Justin Timberlake day yesterday. I watched his new movie "Edison" or "Edison Force" (depending on who you ask.) I thought it was good! Not GREAT or AMAZING, but really good for his first film. I thought it was a great choice for a first movie role. The movie was gritty, violent, and a little dark... But his character was still believable.

I also watched "Making the Video" on MTV for "SexyBack". The video is a little surreal, but I liked it. It definitely wasn't just a bunch of women dancing around. :) You can watch it HERE.

Re-Learning HTML

Tricky tricky HTML. I forgot all of the cool little codes to get this thing to do what I want to. For example, am I getting this to wrap around the photo? Oh and how in the heck can I add a border to a photo or increase the white space around a photo? I've got my work cut out for me!

Better Late Than Never

I have some fourth of July photos to share. We spent the day with our good friend, Steve, in Discovery Bay. Went on the water in his pontoon boat and watched fireworks. Good times with good friends!

How many people does it take to check if the BBQ is done?!

The first shot is of Dave jumping ship, then one of hubby J doing the flying squirrel. What a nut!

Sunset.

I'm a blogger!!

It's about time I got a blog up and running. All this nest talk about blogs and webpages got me thinking about it. So here I am in my new bloggy home. Now I just have to think about something interesting to post. ;)
