San Jose Holiday Parade

I used to always be in this holiday parade. First with the girl scouts, whether I was dressed as a wrapped up present or a gingerbread man... Then in high school when I was on the color guard with the marching band. I was usually spinning a sabre or a rifle. We even won an award or two. :) However, I had never actually been to the parade as an observer. I somehow talked Jason into waking up far too early for a Sunday to go watch it. We called up his mom and her significant other, they came to our home, and we took the light rail into downtown for the festivities. Besides being freezing cold, it was a ton of fun and I'm glad we went!
