Letting the cat out of the bag...

We're pregnant!! The baby (from now on referred to as 'Sprout') is due to make an appearance on January 13th.

J and I are both very thrilled and I am already loving pregnancy.

Here's our 7 week ultrasound and belly picture. I'm already starting to poke-out in the tummy region, so this should get interesting.





So far I've been having about every symptom in the book. The morning (and by morning I mean ALL DAY) sickness has been persistent, but manageable. I've been very tired and have spent a lot of time napping. Mostly I'm just so happy to actually have a baby growing inside of me. On Tuesday when we had the ultrasound done, we got to see Sprout's heartbeat. It was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen!! I'll never forget that moment.



So brace yourself because this blog is about to go baby in a big way.
