Over the last 3 days, Madison has learned how to clap, dance, high & low five, and maybe even said her first word (kitty)!! I feel an intense surge of pride every time she does something new... no matter how small. I teared up when she clapped for the first time! How crazy is that??
Clapping: Saw her first real clapping when she was hanging out on our hotel room bed shortly after we arrived! She was so happy and showed it. I got a good video of it today.
Dancing: We've been trying to teach her the other stuff she learned recently, but the dancing she came up with all on her own! I dance with her a lot around the house, but didn't think about her starting to mimic me. She sorta does it here, but I need to work on getting a better video.
Kitty?: Jason was still at work and I was doing Madison's bedtime routine with her. I was reading "Goodnight Moon" (and hadn't even gotten to the kittens part, yet) when Amber (our girl kitty) walked in. M looked up at her and said, "kiiey!" I'm not 100% sure, but it seemed like much more than a coincidence since she usually doesn't babble any K sounds. I was floored. :)
