New things: She's smiling real smiles!! Jason and I both witnessed them at different times, but Maddie has definitely started smiling happy smiles. The first time I saw one was when she was just put in her bouncer and I was leaning over her talking and being silly and then there it was. My heart melted!! What an amazing sight. I can't wait to catch a good one on camera or even video.
Yesterday Madison and I went to the new moms support group at the hospital I gave birth at. Then we went to "Diaper Days" at a local theater. That's when the theater shows a movie for the adults and we bring the little kiddos along. They keep the lights on and nobody minds when your baby cries or needs to eat. I went with some friends and we saw "He's just no that into you." I had a great time!
It's a bummer that J is back to work, but I've been having such a fun time bonding one-on-one with Madison. I'm constantly being a total goober and talking to her, singing to her, and just generally having fun with her.
There's more to add, but it will have to wait. Maddie is down to sleep and I'm ready for some snuggle time with the hubs. Until next time!

Wow, it's already been a month? She's gorgeous Renee! I used to have one of those frogs...they're so soft.
